Public Sitting

All public sittings are free of charge (donations appreciated).

BSMC is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings for mindfulness meditation from 7:00-8:00 PM.  Free meditation instruction available. Newcomers please arrive 10 minutes early for introduction and brief orientation.

Daytime meditation sessions are available:

Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Fridays 7:00 – 7:30 AM

The first Sunday of every month a more extended meditation session is offered, Mindful Sundays, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a dharma talk from 11:00 to 1:30.

Zen Meditation Group

A Soto Zen group meets weekly at the Center on Sunday afternoons.  Join the beginners’ orientation from 1:15 – 1:30 PM and the meditation period from 1:30 – 2:00 PM.
