Warrior in the World: Shambhala Training Level 3 (Weekend Retreat)
with Marilyn Moore & Laura Landau
Warrior in the World helps us to develop confidence in all aspects of our daily lives. Bringing the mindfulness and awareness of meditation practice into everyday life, alive to our sense perceptions, we can venture into the world with a vulnerability that is fearless, gentle, and awake.
This weekend retreat draws upon the strength and insight we gain from our meditation practice which helps us meet our chaotic and sometimes painful world of relationships, work, and life in general. When we step out of our habitual conditioning and open to the freshness of each moment, we can respond more skillfully to challenging situations. We discover a range and depth of inner resourcefulness we never knew we had, grounded in kindness, humor and strength.
With the great problems now facing human society, it seems increasingly important to find simple and non-sectarian ways to work with ourselves and to share our understanding with others.
